Our Story
Cardillo Baseball Tours is a U.S. based company specializing in baseball and softball trips to Italy. We organize customized tours for individual players or teams to compete abroad and help Italian clubs travel to the United States for play and cultural exchange. Our mission is to elevate the experience for players and families through baseball, teamwork, and connection.
Founder
Mark Cardillo, played college baseball at Villanova University from 2001 to 2005. After graduating, Mark pursued a four-year professional career in the Italian Baseball League playing for teams in Milan and Florence. While in Italy, he became bi-lingual and holds dual Italian citizenship.
Upon returning to the United States, Mark earned a Master of Science degree in Sports Management from Columbia University. While pursuing his masters, he worked at sports organizations such as Major League Baseball and Creative Artists Agency.
In 2017 Mark coached baseball and taught Sports Marketing at the Universita degli Studi di Brescia in Brescia, Italy. In addition, he served on the Italian American Baseball Foundation's executive board from 2018-2024.
He currently resides in Naples, Florida where he coaches a local high school baseball team.
